Insurance Claims

Okay… You have suffered a loss. Now what? Normally, you call your insurance company and file a claim. The insurance company then schedules one of their adjusters to come out and survey the damage, take measurements, and create a written adjustment based on the adjuster’s opinion. This adjuster might be a company employee, they might be an independent adjuster that contracts their services to the insurance company, they might live in the area, they might live in another state, they might be experienced, or they might be a young person fresh out of adjuster’s school who isn’t sure which end of a hammer to grab. Any of these can be true, but all of these factors can affect your adjustment.

Once you receive your adjustment, the insurance company hopes you accept the amount that they offered and then close the claim. Their work is done. But likely… their work is WRONG. That’s where we come in. We will find all of the things that that the adjuster missed or omitted, and then advocate for YOU to get you all of the compensation you are entitled to.
